The Solar Decathlon is an educational project of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

Sponsors

The Solar Decathlon is an educational project of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and is supported by DOE's National Renewable Energy Laboratory and event and team sponsors from the private sector. Here you'll find information about opportunities to sponsor the Solar Decathlon.

Event Sponsors

Event sponsorship opportunities for the 2009 Solar Decathlon are now closed. If your company is interested in becoming an event sponsor for the 2011 Solar Decathlon, please revisit this page in January 2010 for information.

Team Sponsors

In addition to event sponsorship, numerous opportunities exist for organizations to sponsor one of the 20 Solar Decathlon teams. Student teams greatly appreciate local and national sponsors who can provide:

  • Non-monetary contributions, such as building materials and equipment
  • Monetary contributions to help offset project costs

To help a team meet its project goals, see the list of 2009 Solar Decathlon teams and contact the teams directly.
